There is a lot of water in Red Lake and at camp. Even more than usual. But despite all of the obstacles and work-arounds caused by the flooding, a few trees falling, and a few appliances giving up the ship, camp is open!

Plus, for the first time in 33 MONTHS, CAMP IS FULL!

It has been a long wait to say that. Determined anglers worked their way through a detour to Red Lake, navigated to a different pick-up location, and waded through calf-deep water to get into our Lickity Split. We are so excited to have them here, and it sure feels like a grand re-opening.

Lots of melting ice and snow plus rain have created record-breaking conditions. The cabins at Bow Narrows Camp though are built high above the lake level…looks like pure genius right now. We are hoping and praying that the water levels go down soon. Regardless, we and our guests are determined to work with the conditions placed in front of us.

Oh, did we mention that some 20-25 lb. pike are being caught?! They are well-rested and ready for the season!

Already in the first week of getting camp ready, the 2022 Bow Narrows staff is showing their stuff, and we are impressed! Brian arrived at camp last Saturday and soon our staff members were arriving, even through various delays.

If you are one of the lucky guests who will be a part of our grand re-opening year, you will be getting an email the week before your visit to camp. It will give you all the details you need including what time and where our boat will be picking you up as well as what route for the drive to Red Lake.

Can you tell we’re excited? It’s so great to be open, and we appreciate everyone’s support through these tough times. The Bow Narrows guests are top notch, and we are glad you’re back.
