Woke up to snow yesterday at camp! Breathtaking in more than one way…cold but so beautiful. Then more snow today! But then Brian will be departing for Wichita in the next few days. Several remodeled cabin bathrooms and the so-close-to-completed, expanded lodge dining room will be ready and waiting for our guests in the 2024 season.
Meanwhile, back in Wichita, it has been a beautiful autumn which is usually about a month later than the fall in Red Lake. So Brian will return home to at least slightly warmer temps. My brother and I had the 3 cabins on the northwest side of your peninsula. One of my favorite times of year was Oct and beginning of Nov. The pictures bring back old memories. My wife and I still want to rent a cabin from you sometime, just to see the area one more time. I am thinking in the top picture I can make out Dan and Brand’s cabins! Mike
