Our winter home: We are excited that spring has arrived. Even more so as shown in this image below taken from our backyard!
Wichita, KS, April 29, 8:11 p.m.
There were no fatalities and minimal injuries reported even though the tornado ultimately traveled through populated areas including Andover, KS. Our humble abode was spared.
We continue to monitor the thawing of Red Lake and provide updates as more information is obtained. For those with reservations in the first week of the season, we also have openings for the second week as an option for a late ice out.
As an Okie and too familiar with tornados, glad you were spared!
