The ice is melting because of the high temperatures in Red Lake for the past few days. Craig Carlson, our eye-in-the-sky bush pilot, says it may be melted by the weekend. We are on our way to Red Lake as we write and look forward to seeing what the lake looks like in a couple of days. We were planning our first flight to camp in the bush plane, but it looks like there is a chance that we could be taking our faithful Lickety Split. Here is a photo from today that Sherry McCoy took for us also. Now we’re getting somewhere!
