What a wild ride the past few years have been for the camp and everyone! But there is good news: all COVID border restrictions have been lifted which means you can cross the border as you did prior to the pandemic without proof-of-vaccine. We are really excited to see encouraging signs of resuming normal life and camp operations.
Reflecting on this 2022 season which came to a close at the beginning of October, we saw it bring the camp back to a full-calendar season finally with vaccinated guests being allowed to cross the border. But amazingly the tremendous flooding had the staff hustling to work around the record-high water levels and damage. We appreciate our guests’ patience and flexibility with it all! Supply chain issues were another challenge for obtaining supplies this year, but by August, that was much improved.
It was so great to have more of our guests back again! And the 
fishing was exciting … what we are calling the “year of the pike”. Big, fighting pike. Repairs to the dam south of the town required lowering the lake level, so by the end of the season, there were record LOW water levels! It was overall a great season, and many have said it was their best year ever at Bow Narrows.
Moving onto next season, it is time to send in your 2023 deposits. The deposits are due December 15 to hold your reservations.
