It’s opening day for walleye and would’ve been for the camp today. Just thought we would share Brian’s opening day catch. Of course, he’s still in Kansas. Naturally, he caught the biggie as soon as Joanne went into the house. Or so he says!

One man’s bait is another man’s trophy!
That’s a very nice lake perch!! It’s a perch that, I’m sure, came from the lake.
I know you would rather be catching and eating walleye but at least you are outside and fishing!
We have been inside since early March and I would LOVE to go fishing! I have made several fishing lures to pass the time. Even “hand tuned” them on a small lake in our neighborhood. Hope they will actually catch fish given the opportunity!
Making lures is a great way to spend the stay-at-home time! Can’t wait to see them.
