As we became immersed in running Bow Narrows Camp during our first season, we started to see how there were many guests who had been returning to camp for decades. Still, after all these years, they count the days until they return. It’s moving. So we decided we wanted to know more. Our guests come from diverse lives, yet have one very big thing in common: a love of fishing at Bow Narrows. So this year, we will be doing a series of blogs about our guests who seemingly have been coming to camp forever.

What a great idea to post this information about long time guests. Ray’s favorite memory is fantastic. I can imagine it could be a harrowing experience trying to get across Pipestone Bay with a 6hp motor on a windy, rainy day. When the weather is rough, that trip can be really difficult with a 20 hp engine.
Thanks for sharing Ray. I hope you’re able to make it to Bow Narrows for many, many years to come.
Thanks for the comment, Jim. More great stories to come.
