We are fully into our 2nd week of the 2019 season here at Bow Narrows, and the pike are the big biters right now. The water is still cold yet there are still a few walleye being brought in. As was started last year, the camp keeper-fish size limits are still 25 inches for a pike and 18 inches for the walleye in order to promote the big-fish gene pool in Red Lake. Dennis, one of this week’s fly-fishermen, caught the biggest fish of his life…a 39-inch pike which he even got to watch take the bait!
