We are all stewards of the lake and land.

Thanks to diligent nurturing of a vision and good old hard work over the decades, Bow Narrows Camp has morphed into a village of sorts with comforts we all have grown to appreciate. Often times, it is easy to lose sight that we are a wilderness camp 20 miles from the town of Red Lake.

Amazingly, over the course of the camp’s lifetime, the world’s population has doubled! Given this increase and the corresponding pressure on the environment, it is more important than ever for us all to look at ways of reducing our impact on this beautiful place.

As owners, we whole-heartedly accept the challenge to reduce our impact out of respect for the environment. In turn, we compel our guests to join us as we build on lessons learned from the past to set a course for future sustainability. Preserving this great experience for generations to come is a goal for all of us. Coming soon will be more blogs that will detail how we all can accomplish this.
